Drabbles on my mind.

My mother cannot do much right now.  she had a hernia which she discovered she had on xmas eve. they did surgery last week and now there is her recovery period.  We have all really stepped up to the plate to help her and none of us realized how much she bent over and lifted before she couldnt.

example: playing with and picking up my kid.  He is getting big, has his 3year visit with the doctor coming up.  with a new doctor, which he met and said he liked because of his silly socks.  my child notices the strangest things.

David Bowie's 70th birthday was yesterday.  Tomorrow marks one year since he passed on.
I have some strange bug and I am not liking it, but weird it coincides with my down fall week because on the 12 i believe, Alan Rickman will have been gone for a year as well.

My sister is having her time and it is frustrating because if i had something to say about it, she wouldnt get to sleep all day.  If i were to do as she did yesterday, I would get yelled at, Wait, I did get yelled at.  By my mother and my child.
My mom has told me so much what to do lately that it has really ticked me off.  like she told me to go through his toys and books and get rid of stuff...but i did that last month to make way for his new toys that he would be getting.  plus i have a crap ton of them under my bed that he cant read yet but will soon.  He is three and a half guys and he is reading small words like cat, ball, fish, hat, and sounding out many others. He counts to forty five, he counts to fifteen in spanish, and I just dont know what im going to do with that kiddo :D

Well it is official, I am a girlfriend. :D  well we have been going out for a while but titles didnt really come.  But as we were in nebraska me my son and my sister, i was asked if i had any potential guys scoped out and as i text "him" he said "tell them you have a boyfriend"  i think i squealed and did a dance.  inwardly of course. Now, i have told others especially in my last blog he was my boyfriend, but this is coming from him himself :D
Speaking of Nebraska!!!  I drove there.  my sister "doesnt drive on the interstate"  and my mom was home on bed rest.  My dad stayed with her because she shouldnt be alone.  So in their new van we piled up.  Z with his movies, kat with her stuff and sleep, and me at the wheel with coffee and water and the radio.  I was jamming out!! i think im totally a rapper now...  or not lets just say it was fun to listen to the radio while everyone else did their thing.

2017

My 2017 has gone so great!  It started off New Years Eve when I went on a date with my boyfriend, to see the movie Assassin's Creed.  We both loved it.  Yea, I am a geek and I happen to enjoy that franchise, and also prince of persia, but thats besides the point.
We sat after the movie and just talked about it versus the game pros and cons and what we did and did not like.  It was just plain and simple, fun.

We kissed.  I liked it.  later he text me and told me happy new year which made me smile.  I like having him in my life.
I have started off going strong at the gym!  YAY.
